In the opening weekend of Star Wars episode VII, Carrefour challenged the fans of the famous saga to discover their inner Jedi. With the help of Kinect technology, the shoppers could add items to an on-screen shopping cart using only hand gestures. After experiencing the force like a true Jedi, they had the chance to buy the products they selected from a cart that was waiting for them at a cash register.
